Christine Smith organiser for Slimming World based at the Iona Club held a charity walk on Sunday 31st May under the title of "MILES for SMILES" around the Hebburn Urban History Walk, a three mile round trip taking in the River Tyne front passing Reyrolles, through the Park and back to the Iona Club on Station Rd. Hebburn.
The Ladies and Gents looked quite a picture in their red "MILES for SMILES" tee shirts with this years named charity being the N.S.P.C.C.
The 3 mile round circuit completed on a beautiful sunny afternoon included some of their children and a dog called Keira for company.
Well done Ladies Gents, and Children not forgetting Keira the dog.
