The Quiz Master is Tommy 'the tee shirt' Lewis who also sets the cunning questions.
The Quiz comprises of a Picture Section, for example
what have these men got up their shirts?
a) Katie Price
b) The Krankies
c) Hebburn Iona FC
d) All of the above
Plus three rounds comprising of general knowledge, music and many other subject questions.
First prize is for 14 pint tickets with 7 tickets for second prize and 4 tickets for the third prize.
There is also a Jackpot Question at the end of the Quiz for a Cash Prize which increases in value weekly when not won.
There is a £2 entry fee for each team.
The quiz is held in a friendly atmosphere, the beer is the cheapest in the town.
Crowd cameras prevent any trouble and the Police are always on hand should anything happen. St Johns Ambulance provide medical support for those who get over excited or forget to take their medication.
